ProblemThis starts with a job visible in the queue. It differs from a missing printer or a stopped Print Spooler service. Canceling the correct job lets you test without removing every pending document.

Advanced checks

Continue if the earlier steps did not help. Read each procedure’s precautions first.

02

Cancel only the stuck job and test a small one

Keep the document so you can submit it again.

  1. Select the identified job and choose Cancel. Wait for it to disappear; do not use Cancel all as a shortcut.

  2. Once the queue responds, send one small document once. If the job will not disappear or the service fails, continue with Print Spooler.

Next step

Still not working?

If the queue does not respond, record its state and follow the service guide. Do not manually delete print files or repeatedly submit jobs that may all print later.
