Windows retains information about previously connected devices. This code clears when the corresponding device is connected again; it does not mean a driver is missing.

The device is not currently connected. If you intentionally disconnected it, Code 45 can be an expected state rather than a fault to repair.

An entry for an accessory you are not using does not need repair.

Identify the device listed. If it was intentionally disconnected, leave it that way; do not delete or reinstall its driver just to hide Code 45.
If it is an external accessory you need, connect it normally and check its function and status. For an internal device, do not open the computer as a first test.

Keep the check limited to the accessory that should appear.

For a wired device, check firm connections and the appropriate cable. Where suitable for that accessory, try a compatible port or known working cable without interrupting transfers.
If connected but still undetected, use troubleshooting for that specific device. If it says it is prepared for safe removal, check Code 47.
