Chrome shows “Aw, Snap!” when loading a page
Chrome had trouble displaying the page. Distinguish one site failing from a problem affecting several tabs; memory is not always the cause.

Step-by-step solutions
Compare another page and reduce unnecessary activity
Save work before closing other tabs or applications.
Open a known page in another tab. If only the original site fails, leave the whole network configuration unchanged.
Close tabs and apps you do not need after saving their work. This lets you test with less activity without assuming memory is the cause or using external cleaners.
Advanced checks
Continue if the earlier steps did not help. Read each procedure’s precautions first.
Reload and restart Chrome if the failure continues
First check whether the page was handling an important operation.
If the page was not processing an operation, reload once. If you had just submitted data or paid, check the result through the official site first to avoid repeating it.
If it fails again, save work in other tabs and close and reopen Chrome normally. Test the site before reopening all tabs.
Compare an Incognito window if it persists
This comparison can help narrow a profile-related problem.
Open the site in an Incognito window without repeating transactions. If it works there, review extensions you installed and turn off only one nonessential extension at a time to compare; restore its state if nothing changes.
Do not disable managed or protective extensions to force access. If Incognito and other sites also fail, save work and test after a normal device restart.
Still not working?
If only one site fails, contact its support. If several fail, check Chrome updates and seek help noting whether Incognito also fails. Do not clear all browsing data as a first attempt.
