Check the available version before trying another repair.

With a stable menu, highlight the game, press Options and choose Check for Update. This checks whether a newer version is available; it does not delete or reinstall anything.
If an update is offered, follow the next step. If already current and the error repeats, use the PlayStation support path below. An up-to-date version does not rule out every game bug or confirm a physical fault.

Update and observe the same action once

Save progress and close the game before installing the offered update. Let it finish without interruption. The test checks whether the same failure remains with the new version; it does not determine which component failed.
If the console remains stable, try the failing action once. If it works, stop without deleting data. If it recurs only in that title, give PlayStation the game, version and action; if several titles are affected or the console shuts down, stop triggering failures and request review.
If the download cannot connect, test Internet connectivity. Use the related guide only if that test also fails; a failed download does not by itself explain the original crash. If another code appears, follow its specific meaning.

If the updated game still fails, contact PlayStation Repairs with its title, version and whether one or several games are affected. Find the system version in Settings > System > System Software > Console Information; share only the version, not IP or MAC details.
