Check the cable, adapter and connection
Use compatible accessories in good condition.
Check that the cable is firmly connected to the phone and adapter. Look for visible damage; stop using a broken cable or damaged charger.
Try another compatible cable or adapter known to work, changing one item at a time. Check whether charging is indicated.
Look for anything preventing a proper connection
Visual inspection does not require opening the phone.
Disconnect the charger and look for lint or debris in the port. Do not force the connector or insert objects to scrape it.
For an obstructed port, follow the manufacturer’s cleaning guidance or request professional cleaning. Do not connect a wet port as a charging test.
Allow time for a deeply discharged battery
No immediate image does not necessarily mean no charging.
With a working compatible charger and a dry, intact connection, leave the phone charging before trying to turn it on again.
If the screen stays blank but there are signs of operation, follow the black-screen guide. Do not keep cycling connections or power attempts.
Still not working?
If it will not charge with working compatible accessories, contact the manufacturer with the model and what you tried. Do not open the phone or replace the battery based on this symptom alone.
