Bluetooth calls not working on Android
Check that the accessory supports calls and has Phone audio enabled. Playing music over Bluetooth does not guarantee calls will use that device.

Step-by-step solutions
Check call support and other devices
For a car system, perform these checks while parked.
Confirm that the accessory supports phone calls, not just music. Check that it is connected to the phone making the call.
Check whether another paired device is handling call audio. Select the intended accessory or end that connection when no call is active.
Enable Phone audio and test a call
Use a regular test call, not an emergency number.
Open the accessory settings and check that Phone audio is enabled. The label can vary by manufacturer.
- Settings
- Connected devices
- Bluetooth
Enable it if available and try a regular call. If the option is missing, check the accessory’s call compatibility; enabling Media audio does not replace this feature.
Still not working?
If calls are supported and Phone audio is enabled but still fails, contact the manufacturer. Mention whether music works and which accessory you use; leave unrelated app permissions unchanged.
